Parent and Family Relations understands the important and essential role parents and family members play in their student’s success in college. We are here to help with the transition to college for both you and your student. We want to be your partner in supporting your student(s) at Texas State.
Our office collaborates with other campus departments, in order to provide the best resources for not only your student, but you as well. Our goal is to provide parents and families with information to help better understand your student’s life and be a supportive voice for you by providing resources, activities on campus, education, and relationships with other parents and families. What Does Parent and Family Relations Do?
The Parent and Family Relations program is a part of the Dean of Students Office, and we are committed to student success. We build connections with parents, families, and students, and collaborate with other departments on campus to provide the best possible college experience for all Bobcats!
